My grandparents were Giovanni & Santa Ferri. They came from the town of Introdaqua, in L'Aquila Italy, in the province of Abruzzi. Introdaqua is located next to a big town called Sulmona where my mother comes from. Many Ferri's live in this area.My grandparents came to America in the early part of this century (20's I think) and settled in East Boston, Mass. They later moved to Revere, Mass.Their children were Gina, Feliciano (Felix-my father) and Guilio.Gina moved back to Italy and married Frank Marrinucci (deceased).Gina lives in Introdaqua today and her son Angelo is a Doctor I believe practicing in Sulmona.Felix & Clara (Del Monaco)Ferri live in Revere, MA.My Brothers are John and Pat, both residing in Mass.Guilio and Rita live in Tacoma, WA.They have children (and grandchildren) across the U.S. I can update this and provide more info after I talk to my father this coming Christmas. I was told there was a book written on the Ferri Family genealogy.A freind from Revere, Mass, James Ferri, no relation, had a copy of the book. The Ferri name means "iron", and/or has the meaning of working with iron."Ferro" is singular and "Ferri" is plural.
