Robby,
Your spurious claim to have posted the ancestry of Jonathan Ferrin on RootsWeb.com was challenged by me, by way of asking you to "cite your sources of information" nearly a year ago, and that challenge has been unansweredand unaddressed by you.Pardon me if I am among the ones who have reason to think that you are mentally "slow", and that your "slow" response to my challenge is the least of our reasons for our perception of you as "slow".Given the careful examination of historical documentation by learned and responsible researchers, which is a description that excludes you, your ridiculous claim to having an informed opinion in this matter is not just laughable to people who have actually researched the issue, but probably a serious matter of concern to your immediate family members who are concerned that you have been "acting out" or are "off your medication" again.
In fact, your spurious and irresponsible claim to know the ancesty of Jonathan Ferrin appears to have been based on information published by me in The Ferrin Family Newsletter, which I was careful to note was speculative and unconfirmed when I published it.
Are you ready NOW, young Mister Ferrin, to publish the sources for your unsupported assertation that YOU, alone among the researchers who have researched Jonathan Ferrin's origins during the past 100 years, untutored and unstudied as you obviously are, KNOW his origins?
If not, be prepared to be questioned, and be prepared to defend your spurious assertations in a public forum, of which this is just one.
While it is your "right" to "jump to conclusions" and to display your lack of intellectual acuity in public, it is NOT your right to publish false information based on your faulty evaluation of the results of other people's research without being challenged by them.
This is what is happening right now, right here, to you, young and simple Mister Ferrin.
Do you hear me now?
Jerry Ferrin
