Larry, I'm looking for descendants of Fredrick FICK.He had a son named Charles and they lived in Wilkes-Barre.Thought there might be a connection.Here is some of my information.
FREDRICK FICK was born Bet. 1820 - 1821 in Mecklenberg, Streilite, Germany, and died November 12, 1888 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He married CAROLINE RHODE. She was born May 1821 in Mecklenberg, Streilite, Germany, and died Aft. 1900. Fredrick was a Tailor in 1880 census of Wilkes-Barre, PA.
I found an entry on FTM CD #355 Passenger and Immigration Records Lists: Germans to America 1850-1874 which is as follows: Fredrick Fick 48 Male Laborer Germany May 2 1868 United States on Germania from Hamburg to New York. Also on Passenger list were Caroline Fick 44 Female Wife Aldolphine 17 Female daughter Wilhelmina 19 Female daughter Carl 6 Male son Friedericke 7 Male son
