In the 1910 census I found young Marie (Mary) her mother and father and siblings in Jefferson, Ohio. They had not been in the states but a few years. They were on their way to Illinois. Family names Josef Filipak, father Barbara, mother Stanley, son Frances, dau Mary F,. dau Helen, dau Emil, son Rudolph, (the only one born in Jefferson, Ohio..all others born in Austria/Poland) However, in the 1920 cenus, they ha, by this time, moved to Rend City, Illinois, where the father had employment in the coal mines. All the boys were there in this census, however, all the girls were gone. One girl was married and lived in the area, (Helen, who married a coal miner, George Mazure). The girls were expected to marry once they reached their teen years, but two of the girls Frances and Mary refused to marry and fled to St.Louis. I can find a record of Frances in the 1930 Census, but have yet to find ANY RECORD at all of Mary F (Marie) from this the 1910 census, up to her SSN and death certificate. I have searched through her many name configurations, plus her know husband, a man named Shepherd (first name could be Jack) and have found nothing at all.. Any ideas as to where I can search next?
