I received a note this morning to this information upon inquiring on the Shelby Co., OH Discussion list concerning a tile & brick yard possibly owned by my LEHMANN ancestors.
"There was an old tile yard in Fort Loramie that was run or partially owned by George FLECKENSTEIN.Hubby states that his uncle George did not actually make tiles but ran a cider press in this building."
I do not know of any relationship to the FLECKENSTEINs, but they attended the same church as my ancestors. Also, I am aware that there are FLECKENSTEINs in and around Kalamazoo, MI.Hope this helps someone.
