Hi, I'm afraid I can't be of much help to you, I don't have much more information than was in my original message. Check out an organization called the German Catholic Brotherhood of Philadelphia and Baltimore. They were groups of Catholics from Bavaria who pooled their money to buy land in America in the mid 1800's. I believe my Wank family came to America through Baltimore about 1845 from Schöllkrippen, Germany and I also believe there were Fleckensteins from that area in Germany.
