Looking for any info on a Flinn (Flynn) family of early Gibson Co, IN or possibly Posey CO or Knox Co, and Wayne CO, IL...1810-1850. This line married into my Ayers line...
any information on Margaret "Peggy" Flinn, who married James Ayers in 1829 in Gibson CO, IN. She died in about 1850 and James later married her younger sister, Minerva. George W. Flinn was a musician for the 60th Indiana Infantry from Gibson County. He was discharged 11 Nov 1863 from accidental wounds. George W. Flinn of Gibson County came to Gibson County in 1842. Wayne County Ill is listed as he nativity. Occupation - Teacher and Painter. Note: There isa George W. Flinn buried in the Bailey’s Church Cemetery, in Wayne CO, IL.

Some of the children of Arthur are believed to be: Edward Perkin Flinn; Margaret Flinn Ayers(m James Ayers); Edmund ca 1812; Perry ca 1816 ; John ca 1819; and Malinda ca 1821. Also possible sibling Mary Flinn who married John Todd in Fleming CO, KY in May 1819 Appreciate any information on this line or Flinns in the counties and periods indicated. Thanks!
