To the best of my knowledge, there are now thirty-eight YDNA test results among Flowers, and variant spellings, males. From those thirty-eight results, we can conclude that there are probably at least twenty-five totally unrelated Flowers progenitors, with at least twenty of those from the British Isles.
About 1/3 of test results among Flowers, along with variant spellings, males have resulted in matches with other test results which open opportunities for additional research opportunities for those involved.
Unfortunately some of those matches are unaware of each other because they tested with different testing companies and most often those results have to be converted in order to find the matches.
When I can find contact information, I try to inform these matches of their good fortune, but I often get no response.
I maintain a personal database of all Flowers/Flower YDNA results that are known to me, regardless of testing company, and I remain available to help anyone who is looking for YDNA assistance in finding their Flowers/Flower ancestors.
