She came to Chariton in Nov. 1903 and resided here until her death. She was a splendid musician and was unusually bright, which, coupled with a pleasant disposition made warm friends for her of all with whom se came in contact.MISS LINGLE was a sweet girl, just blossoming into womanhood. Her life was in complete harmony with her religious profession, she having been an active and devoted member of the Christian Church for eight years. All who knew her were much devoted to her and the death summons has cast a gloom of sadness in many hearts. The bereaved ones can console themselves with the assurance that while her life was not long it was fruitful in that she made herself of some use for the world. It was a life well spent and an eternal reward is promised all such.
