Yes, John Fluker did receive a pension for his service in the Revolutionary War. In 1833, John Fluker, then living in Campbell Co., GA, stated that he enlisted in the army of the U. S. in 1776, with Capt. Lochlan McIntosh, and served as Sergeant for 12 months and received his discharge at Savannah 3 Apr 1777. Because I had not found John Fluker on any 1830 census, I looked at Campbell Co., GA again and found that his grandson, John Fluker BEAVERS, had a male of 70 - 80 years in his household. This is probably John FLUKER, who was born 1755.
