That sounds good.Maybe some info from KY will help clarify this.
However, we must not forget the Jarvis Forehand in the will of David Forehand (d.1802).David was the brother of your Jarvis.Land deeds clearly document David's move from Pasquotank County, NC to Guilford County, NC.The will lists his sons including Jarvis and John whom appear to move to Illinois as the ages do not match that of David's brother Jarvis.
It is also clear that Jarvis left one son, Thomas, in Chowan County, NC.However, there is at least one son that is not accounted for at this point. Some list one of his sons as John Forehand whom married Sarah Collins in 1799.However, there is no real evidence to support this.
Anyway, do you have any original copies of documents that outline Jarvis' move to KY?Do you have a copy of this revolutionary war pension from Indiana?I have yet to locate any of these. In fact, the Indiana state archives reminded me that Indiana did not become a territory until 1800 or a state until 1816... so this makes the above unlikely.
In any case, any info would be greatly appreciated.Keep us updated of anything you may find.
