I believe you should check census and records in Walker Township of Vernon County Missouri. Check the years of 1920, 1930 and 1940. I do not know of a relationship and our Forman name as it is spelled different but in genealogy all spellings are changed sometimes. My farm joins the farm that belonged to James and Cleo Forman. Vernon County Cemetary Record states: Forman, James L. 1877 - 1960 ForemanCleo E.1889 - 1968 Buried at Newton Cemetary, Nevada, Vernon Co., MO. A 1898 school enumeration of Downing School. 2 1/2 mile S. and 2 mile E of Walker lists a Tom Forman as father of a Hardy, 18 yr, old and a Clarence age 16 yr. The Hardy married a Mable ___?___ and I do not find a burail place for them or father Tom Forman. I think Jim, Hardy and Clarence were all brothers. Our Genealogy Society is presently getting an up to date cemetery census ready. Maybe something new in it. These names are all ones I knew of but not close. Other info I found in our local history includes: 1916 M Forman in Walker School picture. (I think Mildred) June 4, 1915 Bible club, Walker - Mildred Forman & Cleo Forman (Mrs Jim) at Christain Church. Walker Herald Newspaper 12-9-192625 year ago item - Marriage licence granted to Harry (probably should be Hardy) S. Forman and Miss Mabel Nelson - both of Walker Twp. 1918 Walker Colt Show Blue ribbon to Jim Forman. 1922 elceted to school board James Forman. July 1, 1926 Mr & Mrs S. J. Forman celebrated 50th wedding anniv. June 26, 1926 at home south of Walker, MO. Walker Herald Aug 2, 1928 Nick - N. P. Stephenson, brother of Mrs S. J. Forman died. Walker Herald June 19, 1930 Miss Mildred Forman daughter of Mr & Mrs James Forman married June 11, 1930 to Adolphe MeFarlane.
I hope you can get something out of this if you haven't already gotten it. Charles Foreman, 14695 S C Hwy, Walker, MO 64790
