I apologize for what may seem a little out of forum character, but I’m looking for lost cousins who are the descendants of James S. Forson from Garrison, New York.Believe I remember their names -- Susan, Bonnie and James (IV?) --- have photos of our get together in New Jersey, and great memories of the times we visited Forsonville, including the tutorial on Roosters.(JSF--Still remember the beautiful "Long Island Red!")If you see this posting (or if anyone who may know you sees it), please let us know you're alive and well.
Regarding genealogy...started researching our Forson branch more than twenty years ago, and am hoping someone in the family still has access or possession to the Forson family Bible Uncle Smicks used to keep.I've had the distinct pleasure of getting to know many members of our family all over the world, and interestingly, it seems more than one branch has kept their own record of our Forsonhistory, which was handed down through their direct lines.Unfortunately, because these records are very old, have usually been transcribed by someone else, and were subject to errors and interpretations, there are some discrepancies in the various records. Not only would it be wonderful to hear from you and catch you up on family, it would be great to share and compare stories, records, photos, etc., with the hopes of furthering this noble work further.(Sorry, but I’ve tried every other way to find you.)
Thanks for your indulgence and hope to hear all are still living, happy and well.
