From "AFCF", p131: 2) MICAJAH FORT was born about 1769 in Halifax County, N.C. In the 1790-92 period he married a woman whose first name was Judith, born about 1773. Around 1796-98 he migrated westward, arriving in Robertson County, Tenn. by 1798; his brother Jesse accompanied him. They settled for a time in the south portion of the county near their half-brother, Elias B. C. Fort, but by 1800 both Jesse and Micajah were living in Christian County, Ky., where they stayed until their deaths. Both lived in the Flat Lick area of the county. Micajah served in the War of 1812, Kentucky Volunteers. He died in 1853, his wife dying shortly before him. Micajah and Judith seem to have had twelve children, of whom only the first five below are considered well identified: a) ELIZABETH FORT, born 1790-93, married Isaac Davis Jan. 7, 1811. She died sometime before 1830; her husband died 1832-35, testate, in Christian County, after marrying a second time. His second wife was a widow, Mrs. Sallie Wilson. (See Chart 2-28) b) GARRISON PATRICK FORT, nicknamed "Gary," married Anna Condren on June 28, 1815 in Christian County. He was murdered about 1834. (See Chart 2-29) c) ABSCILLA FORT married Stewart Condren, probably a brother of Anne (above), Feb. 1, 1820. Her brother Gary was a bondsman at the wedding. Descent, if any, is not known."
However, there is a Stewart Condron ("o" instead of "e") from Tenn. born abt. 1795 married to an Abscilla from Ky. born about 1801 living in Sugarloaf, Crawford County, Ark in the 1850 Census. They have 8 children: 2 boys: John, age 26, and Dudley, age 22, and 6 girls:Octavia, 17, Louisiana, 15, Virginia, 12, a name that looks like Scivta, 10, Amanda, 8 and Darthula, 6.John, Duelly and Octavia were born in Ky., the rest in Mo.
Note-it appears Sugarloaf was later in Sebastian County, Ark. where it appears Dudley in in the 1860 Census spelling his name "Condran".
