Kathryn: I too just went back to the census records and found Charles. Why I couldn't find him before, I don't know. Anyway, you seem to be on the right track. NoteGeorge Sylar with wife Adaline are also there...this is likely a sister to Charles. I'm starting to strongly suspect that the Stephen in Ray Co. is my "long lost" 3rd great-granduncle "killed by Indians". Will do some more looking and take some time to digest all of this new info.
