Dear Barbara, Are you related to the Freemans or Foudrays? If so, I may have found you some cousins (much removed).

Thomas Foudray (born 1796) married unknown and had the following child:Sarah Foudray, born 17 June 1796 in Virginia; she died 12 Jul 1869 in Hillsborough, Fleming County KY.Sarah married Cadmiel Freeman (born abt 1797 in VA; died 19 Mar 1883 in Mulvane, Kansas).Sarah and Cadmiel had the following children:Amanda born 29 Nov 1833, Fleming County KY; Malinda born abt 1826; Eliza, born 23 Jan 1840.
Amanda Freeman (born 1833) married James Van Zandt Payne on 13 Oct 1855 in Fleming County KY.She was his 3rd wife. They had the following children:Jennie (Adelaide Jane) Payne, born 15 May 1862 in Fleming County KY; Mary E; William Coleman; Sarah Margaret; Eliza E.; Thomas J; Zeterick C; and Lou Ellen.Amanda Freeman died in 1873 in Hillsborough KY.
Jennie (Adelaide Jane Payne) married James Wesley Campbell. They lived, raised 10 children, and died in Fleming County KY.
I am very interested in finding Cadmiel Freeman's family. I have a copy of his brother's will, which names Cadmiel.I know his mother's name was Elizabeth...but that is all I know.
I hope this information is helpful...and perhaps you...or someone could help me with the Freeman/Foudray family.
