SUBJECT
The Indenture relates to a dwelling house called number 3 Cargreen Road, South Norwood, Surrey. We are told that a 99 year lease had been granted on this property in 1867 at which time it was known as number 2 Broadlands, in the newly created Lawrence Road.
In 1883 the Lease came into the hands of Mrs Catherine Elizabeth Margaret Jane Frail, who died intestate in 1896. Administration of her estate was granted to David Herbert Frail. He is now selling the residue of the lease to Herbert Ellis for £400.
