I'm wondering if you've connected with a Cathy Frambes who
was posting in Oct. 2009 about a Charles who married Minnie
Decker.I do not have any info about that line as my
Frambes connections remained in NJ.I have a 3rd great grandfather, Samuel 'Frampus' who was born around 1836/37.
He shows up with his family -father Joseph Frampus and mother Mary Ann, in the Washington Twp., Burlington County, NJ, 1850 Federal Census.Father is 49, mother 41, Samuel is 13, brothers Joseph (13),Jesse (10), John (8) and Amos (4) (There is an older step-brother to Samuel, David, from a previous marriage of Joseph. This David shows up in the 1880 Southampton, Burlington, NJ census as head of household with father Joseph and step-mother MaryAnn in residence.)When I enlarged the 1850 census page, it is very clear Samuel's brother is JOSEPH not Josiah as was once suggested in an April 2002 posting.Sorry I couldn't be any more help.
