WILLIAMSBURG -- Mrs. Henrietta Frame, age 93, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, at Arbor Trace in Richmond.
She was born Sept. 9, 1913, in Roann, Ind., the daughter of Orville W. and Maude Gullett Fulks.
She was a 1931 graduate of Lynn High School. On March 17, 1934 she was united in marriage to Robert Frame, a union which was blessed with three children. Mrs. Frame lived most of her life in the Williamsburg community, where she was a homemaker and farm wife, taking care of several foster children along the way.
She was a faithful member of the Williamsburg Church of the Nazarene, where she served in many capacities including teaching Sunday school, playing the piano and as a board member. She also had served as president of the missionary society.
Mrs. Frame will be missed by her husband of 73 years, Bob Frame; one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Filbert Horner of Richmond; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Vera Frame and David and Joan Frame, all of Williamsburg; one sister, Marcella Lewis of Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Neil Horner, Darla Chapman, Vernon Horner, Melvin Horner, Dean Frame, Dennis Frame, Deon Frame, Mindy Newton and Matthew Frame; 19 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Frame was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Newton; and two brothers, B. Eugene and Floyd F. Fulks.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Williamsburg Church of the Nazarene, 8503 Pleasant St., Williamsburg, with visitation from 10 until 11. Interment will follow in Webster Cemetery. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 U.S. 27 S., Fountain City.
