In my travels, I see family photos lost in antique stores. I think this is sad and I feel a sense of obligation to try and return them to their rightful families. So, I have set up this website to do just that.
All of the photos I buy have names and dates or places on them.
Before I list a photo on the site, I try to contact any family members that might be doing research, so they can have first shot at the photographs.
Recently I acquired a pair of flawless tintype photos, of the Civil War Era, still mounted in their paper frames. They are of:
