AUGUST FREDERICK JULY 12, 1895
August Frederick, who has for a number of years resided in a little house in the north part of town, fell from a cherry tree on Wednesday morning, sustaining injuries from which he died Thursday (July 11) at five o'clock. Mr. Frederick lived alone and was picking cherries about fifteen feet above the ground. Whe he fell to the ground he struck on his head and shoulders, sustaining injuries internally and to his spine. He suffered greatly until death relieved him. He was about sixty-six years old and has a wife and two sons living in Chicago. the funeral was held this afternoon at two o'clock from the German Evangelical church.
