I recently read your message and although there may not be a connection, the names are familiar as these are the names of my husband's grandparents. Both are deceased but lived in what was called Norfolk County, Virginia at that time(now the cities of Chesapeake and Portsmouth, Virginia). My mother-in-law said that she thinks Vera married George W. when she was sixteen, she may have been a orphan and raised by a relative.George W. was of Hungarian birth and a farmer. They had five children. One daughter married a Charles Russell from around here. What was the birthdate of your great-grandfather and I wonder who gave the information for the obituary? Anyway, I thought I would give out information I have just in case there is a connection that noone knows about.
