Thanks for posting all of that!
First Linda, scratch that Rhoda Saxton.....wrong family.I meant to say Rhoda Cook! And land was left by SAMUEL FREELOVE, not John Freelove, to his unmarried sister Thankful of Fall River, MA.It's hard to jump back into a family when you've been working on others for so long!
It appears that we're pretty much in agreement on these people. But, in order that anyone looking in can follow us, I'll number everybody here and we can use those numbers in our replies if that's ok with you.I hope I got everyone in his/her proper place.I left off some of your notes and anyone interested can refer back to your last message for them.
1.JOHN FREELOVE, born ca 1710, Freetown, MA, married first SARAH GARNSEY, 1734, Bristol Co, MA.One child:

1.SAMUEL FREELOVE died in Cheshire Co I believe, about 1848 or a little before, and left land to his single unmarried sister, THANKFUL FREELOVE of Fall River, Bristol Co, MA, in 1848.This isn't Thankful who married Ezra WHITMAN.Who is Samuel Freelove?
2.In 1820, John FREELOVE #7 is counted in Castleton, VT, age 45 and over, wife 45 and over, and a male, presumably a son, born 1810-1820.Who might this be?I think maybe it's a bad guess on the age and this is actually John Willard, born ca 1806.
3.Refer to John #7...I think he is the one who served 12 Apr 1814 to 21 Apr 1814, War of 1812, Capt Othniel Hewett's Co, Sumner's Regiment.I got this from "Roster of War of 1812", Herbert T. Johnson, Adg Gen, p169.BUT, I don't have reference of where this unit is from.Do you?
