Hi Jaryth. I'm your mom's uncle David, you are a member of an enormous family. Your grandfather was my younger brother Dennis, who died on January 22, 1985, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Your grandmother, on your mother's side, was Denise, and I'm not sure which surname she used, but I think it was Hubert: she died on September 11, 1995. Dennis was born in Fort Frances, ON, on October 22, 1947; Not sure where Denise was born, but she was born on April 26, 1952: She was a very beautiful young woman, and she died of cancer complications. Dennis died because of a drug mix up, as he was taking thyroid medication, and a different doctor gave him some meds for a cold or flu. The reaction between the drugs cost him his life.
Your last name is something I will tell in a private email, if you wish to know.
You have two aunties, on your mother's side, Christene, (10 Aug 1970) and Tammy, (04 Oct 1975)
Dennis was working for the CPR Yard crew in Kenora ON when he died, and he had spent some time working back East before he joined the Navy as a cook, but I'm not sure when that was. Dennis andDenise were married in 1969, don't know where or when, but your uncle Jerry is more or less the family record keeper now that Gram died in 2003.
You are the 218th offspring of Mari Lengyel (John)(nee Sebastian). She was your great-great grandmother. Your other G-G-G was, as stated elsewhere in this thread, was Elisabeth Frenette (Solomon) (nee Comeau).
Mari and John had nine children, four of them are still alive, your G-G Anne Frenette was their third born in 1913.
Elisabeth and Solomon had nine children only one is still alive. Your G-G Onesime Frenette was second born in 1910.
Your grandfather, Dennis, was 10th born to a family of thirteen children, ten of whom are still living: Some live in Thunder Bay The rest all live West of there, four live on Vancouver Island.
