Charlotte, the obituary for Nellie (Hasell) Fripp was sent to me by Nancy Peeples. She had copied it from the newspaper collection at the Beaufort, SC, Library.

Mrs. Nellie Hasell Fripp, who was curator of the Beaufort Museum for many years died after a long illness Wednesday night April 25 in a Walterboro Hospital. She was the 70 year old widow of Robert Lee Fripp.
Funeral services were held at 3 PM Saturday in St. Helena's Protestant Episcopal Church with the Rev. John W. Hardy officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, was by Morrall Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fripp was born in the Okatie Section of Beaufort County hear Ridgeland, a daughter of the late Andrew and Sarah Ellis Hasell. She lived in Beaufort County most of her life.
She was active in the Benevolent Society the Stephen Elliott Chapter of the UDC, Beaufort County Historical Society and St. Mark's Women Auxiliary of St. Helena Church.
Surviving are two adopted daughters, Mrs. John D. Timmerman of Pennsauken, N.J., and Mrs. Charles R. Sloan of Houston, Tex., and adopted son Robert Walter Fripp of Phildelphia; a niece, Mrs. William Culp of Beaufort, three nephews, Andrew George Hasell of Charleston, Robert Ashe Hasell of Verona, Penn and Glenn H. Lacy of San Antonio Texas; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.
