I've posted this question before (see below) but now I have some more info my Mother, Beverly Frith, has said lately. Please read and write me email@example.com if you can help--trying to find our link to Abbeville, SC Friths. We know we come from that town but don't yet have the link.
I'm looking for links to my g-grandpa John Larkin Frith, mid-1800s, who was married to Isabelle (also likely maiden-named Frith). Their son was Carl R. Frith, 1908-1993 who was married to Esther Carter and had the daughters Beverly and Brenda Frith.
Beverly said lately: "Sallie Frith was the wife of Paul Frith, who was my Dad's brother. They lived several streets over from my Mother and Dad on Overbrook Drive in a big stone house.Paul was an employee of the telephone company for years. He is the uncle who gave me all those silver dollars when I was a child.Sallie ran a luncheon counter in a store in downtown Columbia for years. Her maiden name was Rabon. They did not have children, but adopted Sharon Frith, who was born to my aunt, Ollie Belle Frith.I think Sharon lives in Jacksonville and graduated from USC.She had a brother named Charles who visited my Mother and Dad once in awhile.Heaven only knows what happened to him.
Maybe you could track down my cousin, Alice Bell Christian, who was the daughter of Ebb and Florence (maiden name Frith, my Dad's sister) Christian, born and raised in Abbeville. She was in our wedding, but I lost track of her when I married Dad.My Dad had a brother named Earl Frith, I think he died young. There was another sister named Mildred Frith who worked at Ft. Jackson during WWll.Ollie Bell and Mildred we saw often as children. We also travelled to Abbeville to visit Aunt Florence and family. Ollie Bell and Mildred's favorite niece, however, was the aforementioned Alice Belle. Most likely because of her name."
