Great to hear from you.I expect that your John A. Frith and Euphemia Wilson are the same people that we are chasing. However, some of the dates are slightly out and we will do some additional searching here to confirm the position:
We have Euphemia born on 17th Feb 1873 in Clones. John A.'s birth date of 1871 agrees with Euphemia's age.
Do you have John A.'s fathers name/ birth location..this will help in getting a correct birth cert.
We have yet to locate Euphemia'smarriage to John A. Frith.
However, he is noted as a son-in-law in the record of Euphemia's mothers (i.e. Euphemia Wilson) funeral in 1902.
Do you have a marriage date for Euphemia and John A.?
The press note of wreaths at Euphemia's mother's funeral records a wreath from Mr. & Mrs. Frith which suggests that Euphemia was alive in 1902.Also, the census record for the Wilson household in 1901 records a Euphemia Frith as a visitor on the night of the census...again suggesting that Euphemia was alive in the early years of the 20th century.
Do you have a definite death date for either Euphemia or John A.
We will also try and secure death certs for Euphemia in Dublin. As John probably died in the northern 6 counties after 1922 his death cert will be in Belfast.
Do you have any additional info on Wilson Frith & Co.where did they opearte..any timelines...we can look up some old street directories if we know the town/city.
A number of Wilson's (printers)went missing in the early 1900's from our records anyway and one of them might have started a printing business with a Frith...who knows!
Regards and looking forward to hearingfrom you again. In the meantime we will keep searching the available records here.
