I would be willing to send you what we have found on Francis Fulcher of Texas.
I have him posted on a dated document in Knox County Tennessee 9 July 1801. I know for sure that he was there. The he and his family including brothers Thomas (for sure) pioneered their way into the early Missouri Territory about 1816. I know this because we found the Francis migrated from Ol' Lawrence County, Missouri Territory was part of Stephen Austin's 300. Stephen Austin assembled his wagon train of Immigrant Family's in Old Lawrence County makeing bold claims that he had recieved a very large land Grant from Mexico and promised all that went with him so much land and so much money just to settle in the Texas Territory. 300 Family's signed up to go however many didn't stay long because Austin had to re-nig on his offer of money. He had the land alright but there wasn't much of anything there and many of the family's that went with him ended up returning to Lawrence County.
Francis Fulcher's however, was one of the family's that stayed in Texas and became one of the first family's of Sam Houston's "Republic of Texas".
I could send you a genealogy chart that is "In Progress" but is quite lengthy. I am still trying to discover his earlier history in North Carolina in the Hyde Precinct prior to the dates we found about him in Knox County Tennessee. If you wish please write to Sevensdeep@frontiernet.net and I will forward this chart to you for your own family research and library.
