I think we might have a connection. My Fullmer family (also Fulmer, Follmer variations) was in the Luzerne Co and Columbia Co areas.
My gg-grandfather was Asher Kingsbury Fullmer b. 22 Aug 1844, d. 20 Jun 1931 in Millville, PA.His parents were Elijah Fullmer b. 1813, d. 6 Jan 1880, and Hannah (Kingsbury?), b. July 1820, d. 22 July 1901.I've been trying to find anything on Elijah's parents or siblings. There is a published Kingsbury family genealogy that indicates a Hannah Kingsbury, same dates as my Hannah, who married a Daniel Fullmer, and these two had a son, Clinton, who died in Andersonville Prison in the Civil War.I checked Andersonville Prison and Civil War Records and found a Clinton W. Fullmer, Company F, Regiment 149 from PA, enlisted August 22, 1862, was in Andersonville but "survived" prison, but died Nov 16, 1864 in Millen, GA.I'm trying to determine whether this Clinton was a brother to my Asher, and if the Kingsbury record just had the wrong Fullmer (Daniel instead of Elijah) marrying Hannah Kingsbury, or if this was a different Hannah, or how else these pieces might fit together.
My Elijah's family was in Columbia Co, Madison Twp, in the 1850 Census:
Elijah Fulmer, age 37, farmer Hannah Fulmer, 30 Mary J. Fulmer, 13 Susannah Fulmer, 11 Mianda Fulmer, 10 Clinton Fulmer. 8 Asher Fulmer, 7
Elijah was in Huntington, Luzerne Co, in 1840 Census along with wife and 2 eldest daughters.
Would appreciate any info you can share if this looks like a match to your family. Thanks! Denise
