Thanks for the info!! I came across the William Fulton that you are talking about; who died in 1771 and who married Elizabeth Dolland on Nov. 7, 1748. This William Fulton married Parish-Ossory- Co. Kilkenny. But I also came acrossanother William Fulton who died July 10, 1762 according to Church Burial records. It states the following: William Fulton-Died July 10, 1762-Kilkenny County-Parish-St. Mary's-Denomination:Church of Ireland-no age-male-Graveyard Parish Mallardstown-Co. Kilkenny-Notes: son of William & Elizabeth. This William Fulton must be the son that died as a child before he wrote his will.
I was told by my grandmother that Ellen Fulton came from Kilkenny and have a Civil War pension record that states that she married William Taylor on Nov. 28, 1870 in Callan, Ireland. And the fact that her father, George Fulton lived there and the only Fulton listed in Callan.
Yes you are right; I think that William Fulton is a relation of George, but can't seem to put the pieces together. I know that my great Aunt had property in Callan; looking into property right now. This is probably from George Fulton. Thanks again!!!
