Hello Dan!
Ok that's definitely the right family.George and Rose were my father's Aunt and Uncle and yes they passed away a few years ago.Him first then her a few years later.My mother was in touch with her because she lived in a building my mother's company managed and it allowed my mother to find her and keep in touch.Mother loved them and I always thought it was eerie how much he looked like my grandfather "Pops" whom I loved dearly and lost when I was young.
My research shows some different info but I might have picked up on the wrong Mary M Furlong.Everyone on that side older than my mother's generation is gone now.So things are very hard to follow.
My first reply to you was confused.I'd mixed her up with someone on another branch of my family.I do have Mary M born #
#
* 8 Mar 1886
* in Carbonear, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Married to John Joseph Walsh.I do show that her father's father was born in Wexford Ireland but died in Newfie.
My research ends at his father who I believe died in Shoreditch London in 1834 but I haven't found a birth date or gotten any further back.
I would love to talk more and see if we can help each other since we seem to be long lost, distant cousins!My email address is [email protected].
Maybe we could talk more and share records?
