Hi Jim!I am a descendant from Gaffords that are from Montgomery County TN. I am a descendant from:

James M. Gafford who married Sarah Dicus.According to the census they were from VA.But I've heard South Carolina to.

They had nine children as of the 1850 census.

I come from Anna C's Line.She married Isaac Lewis Coppedge and they resided in Dover Tn.

I know Anna is buried in Heflin Cemetary, but I don't know where that is and havn't visited it yet.According to the Cemetary book, there is a young child buried next to her.I think A Minnie Gafford.There might be others in that cemetary to.

I would love to find out more information on James M. Gaffords descendants.Willing to swap as well.
