I have seen many of your messages on this forum and have found some to be of great intrest to my husbands' family info.....he fits on this tree as follows (and i have documentation of most):
Edward Gandy married to Elizabeth Allen- DOC- they had Isham, Ephraim, BRINKLEY, Edward, Amos, Griffin, Elizabeth and Tamsey--if there are more they arn't on the document I have.
Brinkley Gandy married more than once his 1st wife name is unkn...the second wife was Patty Martha ((Polly Mary??))Chamberliss/Chamberless not sure how the spelling is my docum. has Mary (Polly) Chamberless.I understand that Brinkley and Polly had 13 children I only have documentation on 1, John Gandy b-Edgecombe Co. NC ((now Nash Co.)) between 1770-75 who married 1st wife Mary Patterson and 2nd wife Mary Ann Hood...going from the line with JOhn and Mary Patterson they had the following children: Elizabeth Gandy who on June 19 unkn year married Jason Oaks in Morgan Co. AL, Daniel Gandy, John Gandy Jr, Lucy, Necy, CHIRES HOLLAND GANDY, Oxford and perhaps more that I don't have on my document...Chires Holland Gandy 1st wife Elizabeth Martin and 2ns wife Martha Ledbetter if there is a 3rd I don't have this documented...he and Martha Ledbetter had many children not all names are documented...I do however have the as the parents of WILLIAM THOMAS GANDY who married Eunice Jane Knight and they had my husbands' grandfather WILLIAM WASHINGTON GANDY. WW GANDY married Hettie Elizabeth Moore and they had 11 children one was my father in law JC GANDY he married Barbara Marie Davis from Oklahoma and they have 4 children Elizabeth Sandra Gandy ((FOX)), Helen Kay Gandy ((PUGH)), William Robert Gandy, and Carol Jane Gandy ((ROLAND)) I am Cheryl Ann Clough ((GANDY)) William and I married on 9-3-83 in OK, and we have 2 children Jonathan Lee Gandy b-4-13-83 in Norman, OKand Kristopher Alexander Gandy b-7-5-90 in Weisbaden West Germany... I have found alot info on the computer and even the fact that Edward came to America between 1740-45 from Ireland...... Please reply soon Thanks Cheryl Gandy
