I realize that this is an old posting but I am researching the Gary family since the Gary's and Weekses were neighbors in PG Co. VA from the early 1700's to the early 1800's.Hopefully there is a relationship of some kind between the two families that may involve a marriage.
I'm sure that by now you have a copy of the will executed by William Gary 11 Feb 1715/16 available on line. What I find interesting is that it appears that all of his chn. were under the age of 18 at the time of the will being made which would seem to bring into question his bd of 1665. The ages of his chn would indicate that if his bd was 1665 then his was over 30 yo when his first child was born which is certainly possible but seems improbable.
If you have been able to glean more info concerning the Gary family, I would be curious to know if there are some Weekses involved along the way. There was a Peter Wyke in PG in the later 1600's who had a Cate as an apprentice to become a cordwinder, but thus far I haven' been able to connect the Wyke and Weeks families in the colonies. However, they were connected in Devonshire England.
