I have not been able to find out how or if this person fits into my family, but someone sent it to my grandmother thinking perhaps they were related.
HENRY J.GEBO Henry J. "Foxy" Gebo, 79, of LaFayette Street, died on Sunday, October 24, 1993 at CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh February 9, 1914, the son of Jospeh and Rose (Lemieux) Gebo. He attended Mount Assumption Institute in Plaatsburgh, He worked in the mines in Lyon Mountain and for M.P. Myers, Inc. in Plattsburgh for 30 years, and worked for the Plattsburgh City School District until retiring in February 1979. He was a member of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh and was a past member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his earlier days, he was active in baseball, playing for the LaFayette's. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence O. Hayes of Plattsburgh; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Norman and Linda Gebo of Plattsburgh and Thomas Gebo of Malone; four daughters and sons-in-law, Faith and Raymond Ducatte of Plattsburgh, Christiana and Patrick Leclerc of Plattsburgh, Jeanne and Terry Barber of Plattsburgh, and Cynthia and james Hill of Cooperstown; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Ruth Gineau of Plattsburgh and Wilfred and Catherine Gibeau of Plattsburgh; one sister, Lillian Brault of Plymouth, Mass, 13 grandchildren, four great grand childresn, and several neices and nephews. A brother and sister-in-law, Oscar and Theresa Gebo, died earlier. Calling hours will be today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A prayer service will be held the same day at 3:30 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in St. Peters Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at CVPH Medical Center or to Clinton County Hospice.
