GEAR-PEYTON/PAYTON/GREENE COUNTY

I am looking for any information about MAHALA (HALEY) GEAR b. cir. 1830, married to JAMES PEYTON/PAYTON b. cir. 1825.This is as far back as I can go for my paternal ancestry.They were living in Greene County, VA. when they had my great-grandfather, HENRY PEYTON/PAYTON.If anybody is doing research on the PEYTON/PAYTON'S of Greene County, I would really appreciate hearing from you.
