Greetings,
In a book "The Geneology of Walter T. Geer" By Walter T. Geer, the Geers from Conn came from Devonshire, England and arrived in England from Holland/Belgium near the Geer river (Jaar). Therefore, there could be Geer's from Europe that also moved to America. There are a few copies of the book around, quite expensive, however. I also have a large collection of Photo's from various lines of Geers, from New York, Minn/Mich, and Oregon/Washington. In addition to the Geer reunion in Conn every few years there is a reunion in Oregon each year. Good luck. Gordon
