Hi Diane, thanks for responding. I wasn't familiar with the couple you mentioned, but my 2nd great grandfather Isaac George had moved from Monroe Twp, Perry County to Jackson Twp, Vinton County(Allensville) before 1850.
Which Michael George are you referring to? One was born around 1765 and the other around 1785. Based on 1820 census, my Isaac could have been a son of either one. Based on the two Michael's proximities in 1820 census, I assume the younger is the son of the elder, though the census lists him as "the second" and not junior.
When was Susannh born?(just trying to match her up to the two Michaels). My Isaac was married in 1833, also.
Tracking the George surname in 1820 and later censuses, I see first names Presley, Paul and or Powell, John in Morgan County,York Twp and a Twp bordering Morgan County in Muskingham County and Joseph(in Perry County near Isaac in 1840). Do these names mean anything to you, either?
Again, thanks for responding, and please write again. Mike Beckley at email@example.com
