Hi Ellen, are you from Marcus L George or his son William Taylor George.I had Martha Pasty George with Tilman/Tallman Eastridge, in the census it show martha George, didn't realize their was a Pasty George.I found a Mahala George married to a Charles Bayes, so I would assume that is our Mahala, born 1824 & 1836/37 but is it from Robert Mood George or Alexander GY George. They had a daughter of Susan Bayes and she was born 1847 Floyd co. I e-mail my friend today on LDS file and it is not on the website as of today.I have the Evans mixed up on my tree too.I found another Evans, Catherine married to Samuel May,with a Catherine married to a Thomas Evnas.have a Samuel May married to a Catherin Evans, with his parents being James Harvey May married to a Catherine Evans. The first group is in with the Mays from Pike Co. Ky, which makes more since, I have to figure out how I got Sarah Phillip married to Samuel May.I spent this week looking at the Image Census in SC/NC on the George's and both has the May's & Evans, more so in NC.Found lots of Brown's and need to locate the Robinson, which I have no clue, which Robinson Eliz came from that was married to John M George abt 1796 he would be my ggggrandfather.
Who do you suspect our unknown George comes from. I believe we are mixed in with the William H. George and from a Smith/Edginton/George family tree, I can't remember all the names now. But this group is in VA.Started out in PA, VA, NC to SC then scattered all over the place My chat address is: firstname.lastname@example.org Did you try and go into the file that I have on the internet in Harlan under that bumpkin/Sue Morrow. It does not have the lastest updates that I have in the past two months. I truly need all the help I can on these George's.I got the Geroge's living in George Branch in Prestonburg, this Fall, which I visited with them. Cousin Kay
