I second Peyton's plea. This project has already proven very valuable for George research. We need participants from all George families, but I'd love to see a few participants from these two major lines from Virginia:
Col. John George (1603-1679) of Isle of Wight Co., VA
Nicholas George (c1604-1661) of Lancaster Co., VA.
These two are the progenitors of two of the largest George families in the south. We need proven descendants to take the test. Their results could prove once and for all that John and Nicholas are closely related or not. The results will also provide base-line data that other Georges can use to find out if they are related to these two lines. Not every George has been able to trace this far back. DNA results could tell you if you are on the right research track or not.
Marty Grant (p.s. I've taken the test myself for my own surname, it is painless and the results very interesting!)
