Dear Susan, I think we've corresponded before. My great-grandfather was a Frank (Francesco?) Geraci who came over some time between 1870 and 1885 to Baltimore, MD (through Anapolis) from Termini Imerese, Sicily.I am guessing he was born sometime between 1850 and 1865.He had 5 brothers but I don't know who they were. I don't know if he had any sisters. He may have returned to Termini briefly and then brought over his wife Rosina Marcellino Geraci, (born Aug 7, 1861 in Termini) along with some children. After a few years in Baltimore, he moved to Washington DC where he was a shoemaker. He had a cousin, Ignazio Geraci, who was a tailor there.I am wondering if my great-grandfather, Frank Geraci, may have been a brother of your Angelo. Or perhaps my g-grandfather's cousin, Ignazio, may have been.
If anyone has any information regarding what I've posted, feel free to contact me.Also, consider joining the Termini mailing list which is at www.termini-imerese.org and is a great group of people (we've become a family!) of over 100 different people with ancestors from Termini. Ciao,Ken Geraci
