John Gibb 1722, Killemure,Forfarshire (now Angus) County Scotland, married Elespet/Elsepeth Petrie in about 1754.Four children:Betsy (my ancestor) married James McLeish.
James, Joseph might have married Helen Petry; Jean married George Kidd.John's father may have been Alexander.Would appreciate any information on this family of Gibb.
