Mennonite Mivration into Ohio, by Delbert Gratz, in The Palatine Immigrant Vo. 5, No. 2 (Autumn 1979): pp. 50-61.
This is an interesting article on Mennonite migration paths in general and into Ohio in particular. It quotes a few settlers who left written accounts of their trip, but it doesn't really deal with individuals and where they went, etc. The last two pages contain two charts. The first is a diagram of migration paths from Europe to other parts of the world, with dates and arrows showing where groups went. The second is a chart entitled "Major Mennonite and Amish Settlements in Ohio." It names family names going to each location. Gingerich is listed for the following:
1817 Butler Co, Trenton, Augsburger, holly, Gingerich, Kennel, came from Hesse, Alsace
1896 Madison Co, Plain City, Miller Gingerich, Troyer, from eastern Ohio; Penn.
Hope this helps.
Susan
