Wilma,
About the loyalist index, I found a copy in my local genealogy library.Don't know if it is online. As for Tabitha Evans being Arthur Parks wife, I don't know of any record that would verify it, but I do know that a John Evans was a witness to Arthur Parks will (ca. 1760) so it is certainly possible.I believe that Obediah Gladstone's father was John Gladstone, Jr. and his mother was from the Poynter family (possibly Arcadia, Ann or Mary).John would have been born around 1695 to John Sr and Rose Gladstone of Dorchester Co.Don't know Rose's maiden name.Obediah died in 1771 and his son John Turvil was administrator of his estate, but I've found no record of a will.I do have a copy of a land patent dated 1754 for Gladson's Discovery, a 110 acre parcel in Worcester Co granted to Obediah Gladstone. The James Gladstone your refer to lived in Prince Georges Co, MD and was probably not a close relation. If I ever get back to the Hall of Records in Annapolis, I'll try to find out more about the Parks family.
Lance Gladstone
