William E. Gladstone was my Great great great great Grandfather. My grandmother's maiden name was Gladstone and she was one of 13 children. She had a brother Euart called Buddy by the family, a brother Billy (William), who was to play for a Major League Baseball team until he was diagnosed with TB by the team Doctor. He went to a TB camp for a while, his sister Edna accompanying him. I think the eldest son drowned when he was 18. The siblings I can remember as a kid are Mabel, Millie, Edna, Billy, Buddy, Howard, Florence, My Grandmother Emeline, Jessy. The rest I cannot remember. My geat grandfather had a gall bladder removed, and burst the stiches coming home from the hospital in a horse drawn wagon. He died shortly thereafter, leaving my great grandmother to raise 13 children alone.I hope this is of someinterest to you.I am trying to find out if I am related to a D.S. Gladstone.
