Dear Gleasons, I do not normally do any genealogy, but tonight, I started looking up the Gleason family on the Internet, and found this site.
I have an old family tree which was done for my grandfather, Dr. Archie Leland Gleason, before he died in 1972.
The 'oldest' ancestor we have completely documented is Daniel Gleason born December 28, 1771 in Massachusetts and died in 1843.
However, the book says that Daniel was possibly a descendent of Thomas Gleason who emigrated from England, who was born in 1607 and died in 1686.One of you mentioned a book of Gleason names in one of your notes. If you have a copy, would you please look to see if 'my' Daniel has found his connection to Thomas.Thank you.
My quick family tree looks like this: 1 Daniel Gleason 2 Watson Gleason 4 Eugene Gleason 5 Archie Gleason 6 Eugene Gleason 7 Karen Gleason Ashim
I would really appreciate any information you could share with me.My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org
