Appendix "A" of the 'Desc.of Thomas G., 1909' by White is titled, "Descendants of Daniel Gleason, of Genesee Co., NY. (Records furnished by Mrs. Jane H. Gleason, of Sassopolis, MI)
1. DANIEL GLEASON was probably a descendant of Thomas, the Emigrant, but as the information regarding his birthplace and parentage is so meager, investigation thus far, has failed to establish his descent. He was b. in Mass., Dec. 28, 1771; m. in Clarendon, Genesee Co., NY, Polly Lewis, a sister of Gen. Shubel Lewis, who served in the War of 1812.Daniel Gleason d. in Clarendon, Dec. 1843; his widow d. in Byron, NY, in 1865. ............ etc.
Following this are about 10 pages of descendants including those you mentioned.I have no doubt that your Daniel is somehow connected to Thomas.I'm sure there is a cousin of yours out there who knows the answer by now - there are too many people involved!
