Hannah Glew b 1845 whose father was William Harper Glew married George Allerton and William Glew b 1849 married Mary Allerton. Mary Allerton's brother John Allerton b 1850 is my direct ancestor through my mothers line. I was born and brought up in Selby and have been to Wistow many times.

It was quite a suprise to find this Glew family forum.
