In reviewing the family, I noted that Margaret Magruder's daughter died before she did.She left her estate to her brother William. He died March 27, 1824.It was his desire that all of the black people be willed to her during her lifetime or their servitude. In August 1824, Dorcas Goe, William's wife wrote in her will that her estate and property be given to Richard Hutton Goe. She died on August 4, 1824 and is buried on their farm in Fayette County. Richard Hutton Goe was born January 12, 1775 Fayette County PA and died circa 1850, Henderson County Kentucky. He married circa 1798 Elizabeth Simms, born circa 1780 Richamond (sp?) Henrico County VA (1850 census states age 72 years, born in MD) Richard H. Goe was a medical doctor. In the 1850 Census of Davies County KY District #1 734-752, Septembe 6, 1850, Richard H. Goe age 75, physician, born PA Elizabeth Goe aged 72 born in MD.Two other people are listed who are not relatives, the Hatchetts, he is a farmer. It might be worth checking the slave schedules for Kentucky for 1850 to determine if any of these people that you are seeking might be listed as associated with Richard Hutton Goe.In 1840 a R. H. Goe is listed in New Albany Floyd County Indiana.Their children: Richard Simms Goe, Cassandra Catherine Goe, Dorcas Goe, born circa 1810 Davis County, died after 1860 married William Small.William Emanuel Goe.Richard and William moved from KY; Richard lived in OH and William in IA.William fought in the Civil War.Another source for checking would be Cassandra and Dorcas Goe Small.
