Is there anyone interested in Tilda Goldberg, born in Berlin in 1912, moved to the UK in 1832 and became Director of Research at the National Institute for Social Work in London, UK, in the late 1960s. She was a social work researcher and received the OBE award. Her father, a patent lawyer/agent and her mother, born a Wallach., also moved to the UK to escape Nazi persecution. Tilda had a sister, with epilepsy, who died in London about 1944. Tilda died in Hertfordshire, UK, in December 2004. She left money in her will to establish a university social work research programme - and this was allocated to the University of Bedfordshire where there is now a Tilda Goldberg Centre for Social Work and Social Care.
